There is already a high degree of protection of historic features in the planning system which the planning application will need to adhere to .
The scoping exercise provided further guidance on the potential impacts on key features that have been addressed in the planning application.
This may mean for example:
- Not allowing development in certain areas.
- Limiting the height of buildings that may affect views of particular features.
