New Skatepark in Truro, Cornwall

The new skatepark is being designed and built by Maverick Skateparks, a skater-run business known for installing top-class skateparks across the UK. In partnership with Cormac, they are bringing a revolutionary concrete skatepark to Langarth, tailored for skate, scooter, and BMX enthusiasts. This innovative space will allow residents to embrace an inspirational, active lifestyle that breaks down barriers, inspires self-growth and builds resilience within the community.

Earlier this year, Maverick Skate released the initial design concept, which was widely shared with the community to gather feedback on the proposed features. The current design includes three main areas: a combi-bowl, a raised street area, and a flowtrack. Additional features like tacos, rollovers, volcanos, quarter pipes, ledges, flat bar rails, and bowl hips and extensions are also part of the layout. These elements may evolve as the community’s feedback is reviewed and integrated into the final design.
