Celebrating Traditional Arts, Cornish Heritage & Culture at Langarth

Your Cornish Village

Your Eco-Village: Rooted in History, Heritage, and Culture

Cornwall is steeped in tradition, and we’re working closely with Cornwall Council and other partners to ensure that our rich culture and heritage are preserved and celebrated throughout Langarth. This commitment begins from day one, using locally sourced materials and tradespeople to craft Cornish-inspired architecture that honours our deep roots while embracing modern life.

We take immense pride in our Cornish language, which will be reflected in every local centre, street, lane, and square across Langarth Garden Village, weaving tradition into the everyday life of our sustainable community.

Cornish Heritage

A Legacy of Long-Standing Heritage

We are incredibly proud of our Cornish heritage and are excited to create a local heritage centre at Langarth so that locals can reconnect with their Cornish roots. This centre will display local artefacts, celebrate Cornish traditions, and provide visitors insight into our past while keeping Cornish stories alive for future generations.

Langarth is also home to a historical monument known as the Penventinnie Round, a small, embanked enclosure dating back to the late Iron Age and early post-Roman period. Situated 200m northwest of Penventinnie, this ancient site holds valuable archaeological evidence of its construction, the daily lives of its inhabitants, and the surrounding landscape they once called home.
