The fishing lakes and the land around them is being retained and the existing use will be maintained. Development plots are offset from this area.

The SuDs proposals does not rely on altering or deepening the fishing lakes but would take these into account. New extended Suds provision is located around the area and this does provide some opportunity for combining and enhancing the area.

New cycles and pedestrian routes will connect the area to the wider Langarth network.

Making the area a nature reserve and/ enhancing leisure activities are all good ideas but of course may be mutually exclusive.
