The shape of the site actually provides a number of advantages for the promotion of sustainable transport. The site’s linear nature will ensure all development can have access to the public transport/cycling and walking corridor along the NAR. Historically town and cities have developed along transport routes. The site is designed to promote cycling and walking. The distance from the station would be true for most sites on the edge of Truro and this is mitigated by the high-quality bus access to the station.
