How will vehicles access the NAR?

The NAR is accessed off the A390 in the west at a new roundabout /junction. The NAR then runs through the site to RCHT. At the east end of the site the road links to RCHT, runs past the Innovation centre, and then has further links to the A390 at a new junction opposite the access to Richard Lander school. The diversion of traffic along the NAR allows vehicles seeking to access or leave the RCGT site to use the NAR which is estimated to remove around a third of the current A390 traffic. The NAR also reduces pressure on the RCHT roundabout with advantages for the hospital and emergency vehicles
